Leadership

Shane and Amie met in High School with the dream of making a difference in this generation.  They graduated from Bible College in 1999 and returned to Wilmington to serve Jesus and our Church.
Pastor Shane and Amie have been married for over two decades, and have three kids. Blake is married to Nicole, and twins Chloe and Grace. In January 2006, Pastor Shane became our Lead Pastor and has built an amazing team of leaders who are reaching our community.  Pastor Shane is known for his  passionate and practical messages, in addition to loving people through life's challenges.  Pastor Shane and Amie serve as Ohio District Directors for RMAI, Rhema Ministerial Association  International, which hosts events and conferences for ministers  across our region.  Pastor Shane is the visionary leader for Impact Next Gen, which is a network of more than 35 churches who are working  together to reach the next generation for Christ. 

John and Jannon met at our church after years of serving in youth and children's ministries.  They have a  tremendous heart for God and a passion to help people live out their  faith.  John holds a  Bachelor's Degree in Business from Wilmington College and is a graduate of Bible College.  Jannon also graduated from Bible College.  John and Jannon have been married for 17 years and have three amazing kids, Julia, Jeremiah, and Jazmine. Pastor John oversees the Pastoral Care and Discipleship Ministries of our church, including our Life Groups, Prayer, and our Pathway to Partnership.  He also oversees our Facility, Business Development,  and Missions and Outreach.  Jannon serves as our Office Administrator, assisting our staff with project management, accounts payable, and organization.  

Tim and Sarah met serving in ministry at a great church in Hamilton, OH.  They have been married 10 years with two awesome kids, Norah and Judah.  They joined our team at FFC in June of 2018 and have been a huge blessing to our church ever since.  Pastor Tim graduated from Bible College, and Sarah has a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational and Cross-Cultural Leadership from Miami University, with a Minor in Family Studies. Together, they lead our Creative Team, overseeing our service planning, video production, communications, graphic design, and social media.  Pastor Tim and Sarah have an incredible heart for Jesus and for people!  They continue their quest to find the best coffee in Wilmington by visiting every local shop as often as possible.   

Pastor Mike & Bunny are the founding pastors of this amazing church family.  They came to Wilmington to take the leadership of a fledgling church plant in 1996 after 25 years in full time ministry.  They served as Lead Pastors until passing the baton of leadership to Shane and Amie in 2006. They have been married 47 years and have 2 kids and 6 grandkids.  They love people and live to serve others.  They continue to mentor and inspire our leadership team and love on all the people of FFC.  They lead the Pastoral Care Team and the Facility Team, making sure our building is ready to host our community.

Jeremy & Kara Gunsaulies really enjoy serving Jesus and people.  They have been married 18 years and have 4 awesome kids, Lily, Silas, Macy, and Willow.  Kara grew up in ministry as a PK, and together they served in youth and kids ministry at her father's church.  The Guns family came to FFC in early 2018 and began to serve and help on multiple teams. In January 2020, we asked them to lead FFC Kids, and in January 2022, we asked them to oversee the Next Gen ministry at FFC. They now work with our amazing Next Gen leadership team to provide relevant and age appropriate ministry to our kids, youth, and young adults. 

Ken and Teresa are a blessing to everyone they come in contact with.  They have served in various ministry roles over the last decade and have been married for 26 years.  They have 3 wonderful daughters, McKena, Kendyn, and Kensley.  They came to FFC in 2019 and now serve as Connection Pastors. They are responsible for all of our First Impression Teams including our Connection, Cafe, Guest Central, Ushers, Greeters, and Safety Teams. They lead our Pathway to Partnership and help people and families connect through The Link. Ken also leads our Men's Breakfast monthly, and Teresa serves as an Executive Assistant to our pastoral staff.
